Let the Redeemed of the Lord Say So
(Ps. 107:2) Let the redeemed of the LORD say so, whom he hath redeemed from the hand of the enemy; (1 Pet 3:15)But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear: (Ps. 19:14)Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O LORD, my strength, and my redeemer.
“Hello, I’m born again through the shed blood and finished work of Jesus Christ. How about you?”
“Hi, I know I’m going to heaven one day, and I was wondering if you know the same?”
“Are you a Christian? Do you know for sure that you have Jesus in your heart and life? Is He your Savior? May I tell you how you can know for sure?”
*Redeemed how I love to proclaim it!
Redeemed by the blood of the Lamb;
Redeemed through His infinite mercy,
His Child and forever I am.
I think of my blessed Redeemer,
I think of Him all the day long;
I sing, for I cannot be silent;
His love is the theme of my song.
O that our words and the song of our lips were words of life and salvation. That others around us could see and sense the presence and fragrance of our Lord Jesus Christ. May the words and actions of our testimony of salvation ring clarion clear so that lost souls can be led to the light of salvation in Jesus Christ.
How can these things be? How can these things come about in our lives? We must fall in love with Jesus. We must immerse ourselves in the love letter of the Word of God, the Bible. We must be obedient to the loving commands of our heavenly Father and responsive to the wooing of His Holy Spirit in our hearts. SDW
